Font Inspector for
Microsoft Edge.
Edge is built on Chromium, the same engine as Chrome, so it runs Chrome extensions as they are. Font Inspector installs from the Chrome Web Store in about a minute.
Install it in Microsoft Edge
- Open the Font Inspector page on the Chrome Web Store in Edge, using the button on this page.
- Edge shows a banner asking whether to allow extensions from other stores. Choose Allow extensions from other stores, then confirm.
- Start the install from the store page, then choose Add extension when Edge asks.
- Open the extensions menu in the toolbar and make Font Inspector visible, so its icon is one click away.
- Refresh any page that was already open, click the icon and choose Pick text on page.
You only allow other stores once. After that, Chrome Web Store extensions install in Edge like any other.

Yes. Edge is a Chromium browser and installs extensions from the Chrome Web Store once you allow extensions from other stores.

Not at the moment. Install it from the Chrome Web Store, which Edge supports directly.
Can I find a font in Edge without an extension?+
Yes. Edge has the same DevTools as Chrome: right-click the text, choose Inspect, open the Computed tab and look at Rendered Fonts.
