The main font stack in the CSS:

font-family: "Source Sans Pro", -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", "Noto Sans", Arial, sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", "Segoe UI Symbol", "Noto Color Emoji";
  • File names such as source-sans-pro-latin-400-normal.woff2 follow the Fontsource package layout: the site installs its fonts from npm instead of linking to Google Fonts.
  • The 48px headline has a line height of exactly 1.
  • Charter and the KaTeX math fonts are declared for model cards and papers but are not used on the home page.

Sites change their type without notice. Font Inspector shows the rendered font, size, weight and spacing of any text on huggingface.co or anywhere else, and lists every font on the page. Free, no account.

How we checked

We opened huggingface.co in Chrome on November 5, 2026 and read the computed styles of its visible text: the declared font stack, the font actually rendered, and how much of the page’s text each family sets. That is the same data the Font Inspector extension shows under Fonts on this page. We re-check these pages periodically, and the date above shows the last inspection.
